Salmon River Specimens with Tony Gugino
This fall I am teaming up with seasoned guide Tony Gugino to guide the Salmon River and the Lake Ontario tributaries. He has a wonderful fishery that is accessible to any & all. Tony is one of the best I have fished with, and his ability to spot fish is excellent. He fishes around the world & spends summers at Royal Coachman Lodge in AK. Fishing with him the last several seasons has been a savior from imminent post guiding depression. Steelhead run rampant in this area and the fishing peaks in November & December, but fisherman can stalk these fish right through the spring time provided the conditions stay favorable.

This place has the fattest rainbows I have ever seen
Swinging flies on the Salmon River can be very rewarding. The runs are shallow which allow minimal weight and easy casting. I fished a Scandi head on my switch rod with a 10ft sinking polyleader and found this was a perfect match for the flows.
