The upstate NY fall steelhead season ended in typical fashion with snow and freezing conditions. Luckily it held off for most of December allowing me to go fishing for fun when the guiding slowed down. I tried a bunch of new rivers this fall and had a blast checking out some of the Lake Erie tributaries and western streams.
Snowball to the face!

It's cool when you get into situations like casting from a log.
