June Striped Bass are showing up in numbers & SIZE!

New England Striper report!

The Striped bass are here and the days just keep getting better.  Waves of fresh fish are moving into the area, and the size of the fish has been steadily increasing.  Lots of smaller fish are around with a few brutes mixed in between.   Things should only get better as the water temp goes up and fish get situated.  We have been doing most of our damage on lures and flies.  The live mackerel have been scarce, and fish have been honed in on sand eels and other small bait fish.

Sorry for the absent posting, but the Striped Bass are here!  We have been running trips for the past month and the fishing has been HOT!  Not a ton of big fish, but lots of Stripers in the 20-26" range readily eating most fly patterns.  More to come....
