Striped Bass guide in Boston!

Peter @ ssflies.com ties this beautiful tarpon fly that was used to fool some tight lipped stripers!

Jackie & Pete from Orvis came out and put the hurt on our plum island striped bass.  These folks are awesome fisherman and even better house guests!
Bob Manus and a perfect north shore bass

Capt. Mark from northshorecharters.com and a slob from the depths!  He let this big girl go which is the right thing to do

Albie Snax and hungry mackerel

This picture was emblematic of the other week when I got the Parker stuck on Plum Island.  We had to push it off the sand thanks to a rogue wave.  Happy to have friends like Yukins and Westy to help in a pinch.

hey Eliot--I like that fly. Did you make it up? Looks like a barred zonker tail and bead chain or black mono eyes, Is that head spun and trimmed SF or something else.

I like that Panga!!
